Material master,pur grp and mat grp for different language..

Dear All,

If we add new material will they be translated into all languages present or only English for example and do we have to do the rest in a different way.

Same question for material group and purchasing group...r they needed to create again for different language?

I have one request regarding material group creation both for english and french language and user has given IFRS account for EN and different a/c is given for french language.

How to do it?

any translation has to be entered by yourself.

If you copy an existing item and change the description only in the login language, then the description maintained in other languages keep staying unchanged, which makes it look like a duplicate in that other language.

In customizing you will usually have to choose via menu GOTO > Translations to maintain the description of a new entry in any language you use in your environment.

In material master you have to click the additional data button to maintain the material description in different languages
