Install Agent SMD

Hello colleagues,

We have install the Agent SMD in cluster Microsoft in host s003-0051, the cluster have both nodes s003-0051 and s003-0052.

When try install in host s003-0051 show this error in log sapinst.log

Execution of the command "cluster.exe RESOURCE I:\LOGR2D" finished with return code -1. Output:

Unexpected token ':' (Column 24).

Hint: /-:=, are special characters.

Use double quotes "" to enclose values containing these characters.

When execute this command in cmd show this error,

C:\>cluster.exe RESOURCE I:\LOGR2D

C:\>cluster.exe RESOURCE "I:\LOGR2D"

Right now the sapinst is stopped, please help me!!!

Hello Victor,

The Cluster RESOURCE name has a ":" character in it, that´s the reason why you therefore get the error.

Is it possible for you to change the resource name of "I:LOGR2D" to something without a ":".
