Last Receipt date

Hi

I need to get the"last receipt" inventory stock for a selected closing period.

When i use mcba or mc.9, i get the latest "Last receipt" i.e if there is stock movement in March as well as in May then the last receipt is May. But i want the Last receipt for the selected period say 03.2011.

Can this be attained?

Hi,

try in MC50 hare select material goto detailed display-stock movements-goods reciepts here you find stock along with posting date.

But i have 536 materials to analyse...

I personally think this is a very strange request.

Of course it valid to ask for a last GR date, this is captured in SAP.

But a last goods receipt date before a current last goods receipt date, or even in a certain period is more than unusual. What can be done with such a information?

explain your auditors that such report is not available in SAP and has to be developed, and if the costs for this developement are really worth to be invested.

Hi,

Can be cross checked with your specific date in T.code: MB5B, by entering material number, 101 movement type & period as you wanted and then execute.

it gives me the stock on that particular date.But this does not give me the last receipt date for that stock within the closing period.

Hi

i am not sure it will fulfill your requirement or not but try this

Tables: MKPF, MSEG

In table MKPF enter transaction even key and document type WE goods receipt and enter posting period as you mesntion

and execute this

now pass this document number from MKPF into table MSEG and check

I guess there is not even any other way than analyzing the movements directly.

S032 stores last GR date, but not period wise, just general
