hi,
i have a job, which has to run at 3 times a day.....at 9.30, 12.30 and 20.00.
the job has to run every day.
HOW can i do this with standard-sap-sm36/37 WITHOUT creating 3 jobs ?
reg, Martin
Hi Martin,
Perhaps you should consider using "SAP Central Process Scheduling" if you require more advanced scheduling options than what is available in SM37. SAP CPS is a java application which is deployed on NW java. It is available as a FREE version and also an enterprize version. The free version has limited functionality - the main limitation is that you can only administer jobs in One SAP system (Restricted by isolation groups) where as in the FULL version you can administer batch job accross your entire batch landscape.

As far as i know it is not possible to Schedule one job with these kind of time frame. You can run it on every 3 hours but not Specific mutilple time frame for every run. There is no such option.

Yes. but there is no standard option available on SAP. There are certain other things also, for e.g. You cannot define a maximum time for a Background Jobs, means if it not completed on defined time it will get canceled automatically. This is also not possible through Standard SAP options.
