Changing Ordinary depreciation of an Asset

Hello Gurus,

ive got a problem which is as following:

Last year we took over some assets which were posted through TC: AB01 and transaction type 158 Gross interco.transf.acquis. prior-yr acq.

The values were ok, we ran depreciation from 31102010 till now. But our accountant noticed that 10% of the depreciation amount had to be transfered to different account.

Now the problem is that in AS03 (asset values) they need to change the ordinary depreciation amount into a smaller one so the net book value at year end would increase.

Does anybody know if a possibility exists in changing ordinary depreciation?

Hello,

you can make a "write-up"

= The reversal of past depreciation.

Write-ups are necessary either when the depreciation posted was too high or when the reasons for unplanned depreciation no longer apply.

regards Bernhard
