CPA Cache refresh problem

Former Member

Hi,

In the adapter monitor, we see only JPR adapter. Someone had suggested to refresh the cpa cache.

We are not able to refresh the cpa cache for adapter monitoring. Some people had suggested to use XIDIRUSER, but we are not able to loging as XIDIRUSER (not even XISUPER). Any idea?

What are the roles that need to be maintained for XIDIRUSER and XISUPER in the ABAP side?

Your help is appreciated.

Thanks

Karma

Hi Karma,

are you already able to login as XIDIRUSER?

If yes, try

refreshing the cache:

http://<host>:<J2EE-Port>/CPACache/refresh?mode=full

<host> is the Adapter Engine host

<J2EE-Port> is the HTTP port of the J2EE engine

(The following naming

convention applies: 5<J2EE_instance_number>00. e.g. 50000, for example,

if your J2EE instance is 00 ).

If refreshing the cache does not resolve the problem then check the SAP Basis SWC in the Integration Repository for Adapter Metadata,

i.e.

SAP BASIS

=> SAP BASIS 6.40

=> http://sap.com/xi/XI/System

=> Adapter Objects

=> Adapter Metadata

If this is missing please refer to the note:-

Hi Karma,

This is a detailed step by step procedure for creating a user:

- On your SAP Web AS host, create the user below with at least the following parameters (transaction SU01).

User : XISUPER

Last name (Tab: Address) : <your_name>, for example XI Super

Password / User Type (Tab: Logon Data) : <init_password> / Dialog

Role (Tab: Role) :

AP_BC_AI_LANDSCAPE_DB_RFC

SAP_SLD_ADMINISTRATOR SAP_XI_ADMINISTRATOR

SAP_XI_CONFIGURATOR SAP_XI_CONTENT_ORGANIZER

SAP_XI_DEVELOPER SAP_XI_MONITOR

The SAP_XI* roles are composite roles

- Save, and exit SU01

- You must now log on to the Integration server host with the user XISUPER, to switch the initial password to a valid password.

- You must restart the J2EE engine to transfer the user creation to the J2EE

Also go through this link for more details,

Hi Karma,

This error sounds familiar to my

I had the same problem in a new XI 7.0 installation (WAS 7.0) because in the SLD the Integration Server was like a Polstergeist 😄

I applied this SAP Note: 764176 and its works

Maybe It solve all your problem !

P.S.: Uhmmmm ... you are in WAS/XI 7.0? taken care of the new password-case-sensitive of the 7.0

Bye,

Antonio

Hi,

For the detailed XI role information, you can refer to the 'SAP Exchange Infrastructure 3.0 Configuration Guide', at: https://websmp202.sap-ag.de/instguidesNW04. Choose Installation -> SAP XI -> Configuration Guide. It needs a Service user/ OSS login.

If you are unable to login, let me know your e-mail ID. I can send it to you.

Thanks,

Bhanu
