Tax Code Issues

Hi Gurus,

We have created one tax code 82 under the juridiction IN00, for service tax.,,5% (A/c Key: VS8) Cess 2%. (A/c. Key VS9) and Edu. Cess 1% (VS0)..,,

But now we want to change the Juridiction code as IN13. But I have tried many time and if I entered jurisdiction as IN13 in FTXP Tax Code 82 the system is showing as the a/c key (A/c Key: VS8,VS9,VS0)..,,as display mode, but I have tried with juridition code IN00 I am able to change the tax rate but I want to change the Tax Juridiction.

And also I have deleted the tax code and I tried to create a new tax coe as 82 under the IN13 Juridiction even though the a/c keys (A/c Key: VS8,VS9,VS0)..,,are in display mode only.

Please let me know how I can change the tax code Juridiction.

Hi,

You want to change the TAx code and Juridiction, but the Account Keys are same for All right?

So a new tax coe as 82 under the IN13 Juridiction and give the different percentages, the a/c keys (A/c Key: VS8,VS9,VS0)..,are common for all, donot think abt those keys, just enter the values and save.
