How to edit the external defnition of sql metadata(table structure)

Hi All,

Can anyone let me know how to edit the metada which i have imported from sql server(table structure) in sap xi. Here my receiver is MySql server for that i have configured JDBC CC and imported the structure of the table. Now i want to edit the structure to place elements like Action,Access& statement fields.

Can someone plz help me regarding this.

Hello,

It is not possible to edit the schema in PI. The sql metadata is designed for lookups only. Use XML SQL for inserting/updating and deleting data.

If you want to add columns, you can do it using a db tool and then reimport the changes (the table) into PI.

Hai!

I agree with the Point Mention by Mark.

For doing the JDBC Lookup we can use External Definition.

With the Help of the Blog given by Mak, U can Design the Rceiver DT with Statement,Action,Table Access Elements.
