brach authorisation

Hi experts,

we implement sap b1 to one of our client ... they have many branches in delhi, chennai, sivakasi etc... so all the branch managers have professional license... but the problem is every branch should have to see only the relevant branch transaction and should not see any other branch transaction...and chennai is HO and it should see all other branch transaction...

is it possible... pls help me

Hi Vignesh,

In this case, the best you can get is data ownership authorization. However, this function is only for documents. All users can still access master data.

You may only use SDK to really achieve the detail level authorization.

You are maintaining each branch as each database right?

we are using same database and installed a client to all branch that's it and that's the problem now..

I hope you are segregated the branches as separate users in single database. If yes, then Data Ownership Authorization will help in your case.
