Use of UD code

I did production GR of 100EA.So,an inspection lot was created with qty 100EA.I did UD with UD code(Rejected) & in stock posting tab i specified the qty 100 in Unrestricted field.When i save it the system will allow to do the stock posting or not.If yes

what is the impact of UD code(Rejected) on stock posting.

Hi debashis,

It will allow u do a stock posting even though if u select usage decision as a stock but ultimatemately affecting the finace since ur Goods receipt details will be there in the inpection lot .. when u say rejected means according the quantity is not posted for the consumption or deliver the material this will cause a difference between your physical and and your SAP reports which finally affects the month end report.Hope this will help.

Hello Debasish,

Even if you select u201CRejectu201D UD code, system can allow you to post in unrestricted use under stock posting tab.

There is no co relation between stock posting and UD code unless you go for auto stock posting with UD.

The UD code is used to calculate quality score.
