OnEnter Event of input field is not working from Portal

We have written code on OnEnter Event of input field.

when I am testing application directly with Se80 test, the vent is triggering properly and my code is getting executed.

The application is hosted on Portal, when we do test from portal, the OnEnter event is not triggered.

Any idea, what could be the problem? Is this WebDynpro ABAP issue or the Portal Issue?

How to correct it?

The application was running on message server rather than application server thus events were not recorded

We are using the same scenario every day and i have not encountered this problem. Moreover the rendering takes place in the application server and my expectation is that you should not be encountering this problem.

If you are very sure that debugging is not stopping when you press enter from portal page then i would recomment to take contact with SAp help team.
