Sampling procedure and valuation mode

While creating sampling procedure there is a field for valuation mode

what actually it mean

which one we want to select

i will be greatful if any body can expalin in terms an example

like for this type of sceanrio we have to use this valuation mode like that

Former Member replied

Valuation mode simply means how the valuation of the samples will be takes place( valuation means accept or reject)

There are different valuations in broader prospect like

Attribute : when you have Char/MIC as Qualitative then you have to select this valuation.

Variable: when you have Char/MIC as quantitative then you have to select this valuation.

Manual Valuation: Means irrespective of results entered in the Result recording you will manually valuate the sample .

SPC: when you have to selected SPC control indicator then you should use this.

Without valuation: mainly used when you do not have task list & using the sampling procedure in the task list.

Whatever I have explained ,you can find more details in the std SAP help
