"Ownership application does not exist"

Hi SAP BPC folks,

Could any one guide on this

We have created Ownership,Planning and Rate applications . while creating legal Application system is throwing error

"Ownership application does not exist"

Please guide on this.

Hi Sudhakar,

This error comes if you have not created Ownership application with Ownership type which comes under 'Non-Reporting' type of application.

To resolve your issue, you select your corresponding application (consolidation/ownership - whatever you would have created earlier before creating Legalapp) and goto modify application -> Change application type -> Select ownership -> Modify.

This will change the application type and then you can move ahead with creating Legalapp.

Hi,

Every consolidation type of application refers to rate and ownership type of applications. This means that you should have the rate and ownership applications, before creating consolidation app. If you are getting this error, this means that you dont have the ownership type of app and you need to create one.

Hi Sudha,

Check your OWNERSHIP Application "Type" you created. When you created "OWNERSHIP" Application did you provide Source Application "OWNERSHIP" which came with ApShell?

If you have an issue with the existing one, recreate one more OWNERSHIP Application and assign while creating Consolidation Application.
