Plan price not updated through KSPI

Dear Experts,

Want to do Plan Splitting and plan price calculation

I have done some config. but not working.Price is not coming in Plan price calculation.

What i did it

1) Define splitting structure with 12 method for planning

2) Assign Cost element and Activity Type(Labour)

3) Assign cost center to structure

4) value maintained in KP06 for the same cost center and Cost element assigned to splitting structure

5) maintain qty in KP26 under Plan activity for the same activity and cost center.

Now while running splitting Value is coming but while doing Plan price calculation Plan price is not updated but Activity Qty is coming

Request you to guide me on the same.Shall i use 12 method or any other method for planning

NOTE-I am doing Actual price calculation as Well

Hi Raman

Your config is pretty correct... If Plan price is not calculated, for sure some error would have been thrown by system... Please check tat

Also, check your act type master in KL02.. If Plan price calculation based on Activity Qty allowed?

Dear Ajay,

Price indicator 1(Plan price, automatically based on activity) is maintained in activity type master data.

at the time of plan price calculation.system is showing warning msg

Cost component structure for component split is not active

Message no. KP256

Diagnosis

Price calculation, according to the entry in version 0, should be carried out with component layering (cost component layout W1). However, the layout is not activated.

System Response

Price calculation proceeds without component layering.

Procedure

Check the cost component layout stored in the version, and activate it if necessary.
