Use of Sort criterion Field in VF04

HI All

I need your help in following requirement,

Business uses T-code -VF04 for billing purpose.

Now business wants to filter all available deliveries for the specific period as per Material Pricing Group (MPG) and then want to do invoicing of that different set of deliveries (As per various MPGu2019s).We donu2019t any column available in standard VF04 T-code which will give us MPG of the material from sales orders/delivery.

So can we do it by using use of Sort Criteria Field in order to capture the material pricing group from the first document line?

Hi Tushar,

The billing due list will be displayed on VF04 report depending on entries from VKDFS - Billing initiation table.

I found the below User exit for Billing index.

V05I0001 User exits for billing index

Please let me know if the exit serves your purpose.

I think you need to develop new program copying SDBILLDL(VF04) to ZVF04, in selection screen as MPG field.

But as per my understaing we can make use of Sort Crit. field to achive this. There is no need to create any Z development.
