we need to calculate different over head rate for the material XXXXX

Dear experts,

We have costing sheet maintaned for plant 4101. However the overhead cost is absorbed in all the production orders in the same rate. However we need to calculate different over head rate for the material XXXXX.How can we do this please advise !

Hi,

Are you asking that whether same material can have different O/H %s in different production orders? If yes can you please explain ur business scenario for that?

If the requirement is different OH rates for different materials, use overhead rate dependency (as Ajay already explained)

Costing sheet has 3 parts - BASE, OVerhead rtae and Credit

In the Overhead rate section - You need to chose dependency as "Overhead Gropu / Plant"

In the Mat Master - Maintain an Overhead group for this FG material... You can maintain a separate Ovh rate per Ovh Group
