Hi Friends,
When we do the cancellation of Production order confirmation, the Posting date is automatically taken as the one on which the confirmation was posted.
Is there a way we can set it to take the Posting date of Cancellation as the current System date.
And if possible, can you suggest why is it designed in such away.

Hi,
what as Mr. Sharda told it is for accounting proper recancellation , other wise due to MAP changes of article left a difference in order header.
so this thing kept in mind that it will give a big accounting impact of unbalance amount.
But if you really want it then u can make it only by exit because u can't make it by standard SAP.
you can use CONFPI04 exit , functional module (EXIT_SAPLCORF_404), for that.

Hi,
I think this is designed the way you see so that costs accured/booked are revered in correct period as per old posting date. This would make sure MAP of product is calculated correctly in a period as well.
