Number of months employee worked b/w joining date and end of fiscal year

Dear All,

I have a requirement in my ess development.I need to calculate prorated amount based on the employee joining date.How can I calculate the number of months between joining date and fiscal year end date in Webdynpro for ABAP.

Hi sudhir,

If you want to findout no of moths betweeb dates, we have different FMs, use FM to get moths.

like HR_99S_MONTHS_BETWEEN_DATES. I dont know this is fulfill your requirement, just go through below link for more..

The answer is helpful.Previously I am using FM 'MONTHS_BETWEEN_TWO_DATES'.It is not giving the expected result like it is giving zero months as difference between 1st march and 31st march .Where as FM 'HR_99S_MONTHS_BETWEEN_DATES' giving correct results like 1 month between above said dates.
