When we can make use of automatically notification

When in customization of inspection type you maintain the Default notification number,System automatically creates the Notification if defect are recorded for the inspection lot.

Manually is created in QM01

Both have significance in there own ways like

Notification created automatically if requirement is to copy all reference object & followup needs to be done for CAPA

whereas Notification can be manually created when this is not reference to any order or object but only for analysis perpose.

Automatically notification by defects recording for an inspection lot at transaction QE01, QF01, etc.

Some reference objects are copied automatically from an inspection lot to an notification like as material, quantity, order, etc.

Manually notification at transaction QM01.

You have to input reference objects manually.
