Hi,
We have Sap Portal 7.3 ramp up in our company. In my jsf 1.2 application when i reference in application-j2ee-engine.xml file
<reference reference-type="weak">
<reference-target target-type="application" provider-name="sap.com">
com.sap.km.application
</reference-target>
</reference>
it gives me following error:
Application was not properly initialized at startup, could not find Factory: javax.faces.context.FacesContextFactory
When i remove km reference in application-j2ee-engine.xml file, it works.
Could you please help me.

Hi
we opened a ticket.
The problem is:
"We have deleted the runtime reference to the SAP xml toolkit library, because it was left from 7.0 and it is not used anymore. The fix will bedescribed in note:1599598 which will be released by the end of this week, we have also started the procedure of preparing a patch for 730 sp2."
The SAP Note 1599598 is now online.

Hi Jose,
sap wrote.
1. Open the EAR file of your application
2. Create "lib" folder inside the EAR application
3. Add xerces parser implementation inside the "lib" folder of the EAR
4. Redeploy your application.
So you can try if this solves your issue, I didn't have the time to test it yet.
Would be nice if you post here if your issue is solved by adding xerces parser.
Best regards
Nico
