Hi Experts ,
I have two cubes say c1,c2.
I need to allow one Special charaters say " x " to only one cube say c1 but not to cube c2.
What to be done.?
Because if i go and add this special charaters say " x" in RSKC, it allows into BW. i know that ,but
Why i raised this query is because ,if i now allow this specail character to this cube ,tommorow for any other application user say that Do not allow character ,what should i do ,should i go for routine?
Please help me....
Regards
Laxman.
Hi Laxman,
The best and efficient way of achieving this is through Routine. write a field level routine, which you want to allow this char and its so fexible and easy.
Partial allowing is not possible using global changes like RSKC.
Thanks,
Ashok

Hi,
Go through the below Blog Removing Invalid Characters using field routine

Hi,
Write a routine for that particular field at the transformation level.
In this way you can control which special characters are to be allowed and which can be filtered out.
