Incident/Accident Log CBIH82 - cannot open word2010 version

In DMS I can perfectly open the MS Word 2010 version of documents. Before we upgraded from MSOffice 2007 to MS Office 2010 there were no problems with viewing the documents in the incident management. I can open MS Office 2007, but the MS Office 2010 documents cannot be opened (but they open on the DMS side).

Please advise?

Hi Sonja,

Because of the fact that you can open the WWI document without error in DMS I think the issue is related to MS Word MacroSecurity / Trusted Location settings.

(If you open the document in DMS no Macros are automatically executed compared to a report from template).

Please check the relevant OSS notes for the Word version you are using.

There is no specific OSS for Word2010. It is not WWI document - it is purely a document attached to an incident.

Strange.....

What error message do you get / How does the system behave?

Is the file extension (*.doc <-> *.docx) in both cases the same? If not - please check the DMS settings for the document type you are using.
