0IC_C03 --> Custom Cube (Compression steps)

Hello SDN,

I have a custom cube that gets data from 0IC_C03 cube. Its a copied and customized version of the original Material Movements cube.

I have perfomed the following steps for the 'Original' cube.

1. Compression --> 'No Marker Update' is not set for BX.

2. Compression --> 'No Marker Update' is set for BF Init.

3. Compression --> 'No Marker Update' is not set for BF deltas.

My question: Do I need to compress the requests in my 'Custom' cube according to the steps mentioned above for the 0IC_C03 cube? Is it mandatory for my queries to show the right results?

Please advise.

Hi Srinivas,

Thouhg its a custom cube , it has the data loads from 0IC_C03 (which holds the non cumulated keyfigures) so you must compress the cube.

but you should follow the below mentioned steps in the same order.

after loading the data from 2LIS_03_BX then

Compress Request with marker update in 0IC_C03 Cube in BI(i.e. marker option in cube unticked)

Execute init with data transfer for 2LIS_03_BF

Compress Request without marker update in 0IC_C03 in BI (i.e marker option in cube ticked)

Execute init with data transfer for 2LIS_03_UM

Compress Request without marker update in 0IC_C03 in BI(i.e marker option in cube ticked)
