Sir,

While doing some inspection some material will consume but it is not in the bom of the final production

The consuming qty may vary depend on situation so how it possible to entry the consuming material for to catch the cost also reduce from the inventory

Hi Faisal,

As I understand, while carrying out inspection activity you are consuming certain materials for inspection.

Just check the feasibility for using 201(issue to cost center) movement for this. You need to create a cost center as u201CQuality Deptu201D for this.

You may get the detailed consumption report against this cost center.

But remember this will not be order or lot specific.

As Sujit Gujar answered already, it is not possible.

The movement type 261 means the consumption for order, not inspection lot.

You can consume only quantity which is same material with inspection lot quantity through usage decision.

You can post the consumption for order at transaction MB1A with movement type '261' even if it is not in the BOM.
