While we creating notification under item tab we are giving cause, task, and activities

What we want to enter in the main tab of task and activities

How to connect data in here to 8D report

What exactly @ header & @ Item level is

Basicaly Header level tasks are referred as "Immediate Tasks", These tasks provide a quick fix for a problem requiring immediate attentione and header level activities are referred as activities done immediately attend the same.

Item level tasks are " Corrective Tasks". These tasks usually provide final solutions that wil prevent the problem for recurring.

Whatever you enter in Item level Task ,Activity & cause will be captured in 8 D report if customization ( like Function module) is in place.

one more clarification on this subject

For header level task and activities wethere we want to create any code group

like for item level Task ,Activity & cause we are using cataloge type 2,5 and 8

Both will have same Code group like respective Task ,Activity & cause use catalog type 2,5 and 8.

Means type & code will remain same.
