Employer detail (payee company) in Form-16

Dear Sir,

In the Form-16 printed for our employees , we require to make some changes in the address of the employer company . But we do not know that from where this information is picked-up in the Form-16 . Kindly guide us about the steps we should follow to incorporate the required changes in the address .

in addition to suman, employer can also be stroed at company code level in table T001 table. Also there is BAdI available for the same. Check IMG for name of BAdI under Payroll : India -> tax reporting -> Form 16.

Hence address can be stored at 3 level -

1. BAdI

2. At Personnel area level

3. At company code level.......

Now Since system can stored address at 3 level, system will check the data of them on priority as the numbering i have mentioned.

In form-16 'Name and address of Employer' Comes from following fields.

Name and - Comes from name configured in Personnel Area address tab in view T500P from SM30. Click the right most 'Address(Shift+F5)' button. Here you can change the name in most upper block of the screen.

address of Employer - is the address you have configured in Personnel Area address in view T500P from SM30. Click the right most 'Address(Shift+F5)' button. Here you can change the address below the 'Name' block.
