BRARCHIVER errors out and so does DB13 jobs

Hello Gurus,

We just upgraded our Oracle from 10.2.0.4 to 11.2.0.2, BRTOOLS from 7.0 to 7.20 on AIX 6 and I am getting the below error when trying to run BRARCHIVE (7.20 version).

• I took an offline backup before starting the upgrade, we usually do online back ups but for to be on the same side I took an offline backup yesterday.

I am not sure why it is missing offline redolog files, i tried to delete the old archDV2.LOG file and reran the brarchive to create a new archDV2.log file.

I am still getting the same error saying BR0017W Offline redolog file '/oracle/DV2/saparch/DV2arch1_78853_621448274.dbf' not found

Please help!

Hi Siri,

Did you take an online backup, after you get this error? If not, then take an online backup and execute brarchive.

Hello,

Once we reconfigured our TSM to point to the new oracle home , we were able to run the BRARCHIVER.
