costing for split valuation

Dear gurus,

how we will do cost estimate CK 11N in case where raw material is having split cost valuation

in materail matesr only one cost is displayed in costing 2 tab for curreent period.

please resolve this issue

Hi,

1.If one material has split valuation, standard price will be released only for header segment (valution type blank).

2.You have the possibility to release standard price for in-house production segment, if you set the 'Default'-flag in the customizing transaction for splitted val.

Refer note 552486 that contains information about this context. (Question 10).

3. you can also created mixed cost estimate to release prices for each procurement alternative that is associated with an val. type.

Please note, if you want to mark and release a standard costing per valuation type, you must use mixed costing. That means that you have to define a quantity structure category and define a procurement alternative based on a valuation type of your material.

Afterwards you have define a mixing ratio for your material and the defined quantity structure category.

For the purpose of CK11N - System will either consider the average planned price specified in the Costng View or the average MAP from the Header accounting view

you cant use valuation type specific price during cost estimation
