Wrong Posting date in Accounting document.

Hi All,

Issueu2026. The contract Item Level Billing Plan has a default billing date of the first of the month (e.g. May 1) When an item is billed (by first manually removing the billing block for that month) the accounting document has both a document date and a posting date of 5/1. The posting date should be the date of when the accounting document is created.

Has anybody faced this issue? Plz guide us to resolve this issue.

Dear Sathish,

By standard billing date will be the posting date of accounting document.

However you can use the Exit ZXVVFU01 to write a logic to trigger system date as a posting date.

Please check and confirm.
