Stock Take Postings do not appear in XL Reporter since upgrade to 8.8

If you go to report composer or designer and bring back all journal entries, you will see that no journal entries created by the stock take process are showing in the results.

Similarly if you give it the specified transaction number of the stock take journal entry or even the gl account, it can not return journal entries results for this.

The above appears to apply to 8.8 and 8.81 pl3. If you run the same test in 2007, it works fine. Has anyone experienced this or know of a resolution to this.

Julie is correct. The table OINM has become view in new version. It is no longer available to XLR. You may need to write your own report for it.

Does this mean then that XL reporter can no longer be used for reporting such as the profit and loss report. The stock take transactions fall under cost of sales and therefore any attempt to run one of the xl reports for this are completely inaccurate. Is there anyway to get around this?

No.

Profit and loss report is based on JDT table. It has not been changed between versions.

I haven't seen it but there has been a change to the table that holds the stock transactions in 8.8.

Have you check the SAP Notes on the issue? If there is nothing there I suggest you log a message with SAP as XLR is still a supported add on
