Hi,
Any prerequisites before changing the existing stock items from Non-Batch to Batch Management method which have On hand stock qty? Please advise.
Thanks & Regards,
Priscilla
Hi Priscilla.....
It is not at all possble to change the Batch Management Status of an Item from No Batch to Batch Management if the item is carrying Stock in Hand.
The Instock should be Zero in such case then only system will allow to change the item into Batch Maintain......

Rahul

Hi
If it is inventory accounting system then while doing Goods Issue you have to take care of your ITEM COST ...which effects your ledger....
If it is non inventory accounting system then simply you can make GI and no need to worry on ITEM COST.

Hi
You can change the method only when, available Qty becomes zero.
OR
you can do one workaround :
Make Goods Issue of that Item and take value of stock in any GL,
and then change the method of that item, then make Goods Reciept by using that GL which was used in Goods Issue.
