Hi Gurus,

I'm a bit curious about "backend client" means. can you explain me what does backend client means and also how to set the REMOTE in PW Status?

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwce711core/helpdata/en/1e/e9042fcd5747269efc6adb39bfe372/content.htm#N1...

Create the RFC destination to the backend client accordingly:

RFC Destination <ERP-SID>CLNT<ERP-CLIENT> (for example, Q5ACLNT004)

Connection Type 3

Client <ERP-CLIENT>

User RFCUSERBBP

PW Status remote

Thanks,

Tony

Hi Tony,

Backend client with reference to SRM refers to the ECC system where your follow on documents will be posted.

When you create your RFC destination, under the logon & security tab, all you need to do is to provide the Logon language, logon user and its password. You need not worry about PW status.

PW status will change from 'is initial' to 'saved' once you save your newly created RFC destination.

Hello

Backend client is the ERP system to which SRM documents are transferred.

There must be a RFC destination specified for your backend & it can be found in transaction SM59.

Once you goto this transaction you will understand the other defined parameters also.
