Hi,
I wanted to implement Governance feature using MDM for Suppliers.
Governance is the ability to create, change master data in the MDM repository. This will be typical sets of UI, Workflows, Rule Management etc.
I know sap has pre-delivered content for MDM Suppler. I wanted know exactly how this functionality works.
If any one can share the details like architecture, components involved etc, that will be great.
According to the prevailing system and application landscape you may either go for SAP NetWeaver MDM plus BPM in heterogeneous contexts (see e.g. [this demo |http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/elearn?rid=/library/uuid/5027e2ef-ddf6-2c10-da89-f6eef81044f6] which relates to customer records), or for SAP MDG for Supplier in SAP embedded use (as refered to by Deepak).
Hope this helps,
Markus

Basically Master data governance is a holistic apporoach to the monitoring/Central Controlling of master data and to get alive the Nirvana state of it.
SAP Business suite Ehp 5 provides you the predelivered contents of it. Data Governance is something which is central component and people, policies, procedures and various process are around it.
look at below tutorial to get a broad insights on Governance
