Issue with SPAM 42

Former Member

We have a ECC 6 server.

We upgraded our SPAM to 42

The SPAM update is successful and the OCS queue is empty now and in green color

But when i login to transaction SAINT, it gives a message, that "OCS locked by user XYZ with transaction SPAM"

Hi,

We already checked the lock entries in SM12, SM13

I also logged off and issue is stiil the same.

The Server was restarted many times after the SPAM upgrade

Does the SPAM queue status say "No queue has been defined"? If not go to support packages --> confirm.

Sorry if this seems simple, but SPAM is a pretty unintuitive.

Hi,

I did that too and no luck

Check in SM04 if the user is still avaialble. Log it off forcefully.

Sometimes it remains logged in as RFC type

As rahul suggested, use the function OCS_RESET_QUEUE to reset queue as the last option.

But it would be good if you find the root cause of the issue as it would be helpful in future.

Please check SM37 jobs also you might find something in there.

Banking on the fact that your import queue has got in, you can use the function module OCS_RESET_QUEUE to reset SPAM queue forcefully.

Thanks!

Rahul.

Kindly check whether that user is still using that transaction SM04 or even there may be a lock entry in SM12 for that user.

Just logoff that user from SM04 and delete the lock entry.

Try if you can access SPAM.
