Error in VF01

While m going 2 save the billing document in VF01 at that time the error shows:

Please Maintain the Inv No. Range for Yr. 2012

Message no. 00398

Diagnosis

Placeholder for batch input error text, this message is not output.

Please Maintain the Inv No. Range for Yr. 2012

Check FBN1 t.code, there you may need to maintain number range for year 2012 with company code. or else may be due to custom User exit implemented in your system

Hi,

I strongly feel the error is triggered from some Userexit which is carrying out some validation in VF01looking at the error message.Get it debugged from an Abaper.

Hello,

Go to SNUM and check there if you have year 2011 and 2012 with no: interval exist or not if it is not there please insert the year and maintain no: range for them. Your problem will be solved.
