No adapter engine in SLD

Hi gurus,

After PI 7.1 EHP1 installation and nwa configuration, we found no adapter engine registered in SLD, which cause the cache refresh error. We have referred to the not 1031321 and 804124 but problem still exists after restart of j2ee engine many times.

According to those notes, we changed the host to full name and http port of that XPI***CPA service and restarted two applications, but prblem still exists.

Any help will be appreciated.Thanks in advance.

Login to the below url

http://hostname:port/rwb/index.jsp

Click on the SLD Registration

If you seet the Adapter Engine red re-register it pointing to correct server and port.

Also check Transaction SMICM -> Services and check whether HTTP port is available or not . Some times HTTP port will be missing there.

I hope it helps u in fixing the issue.

Thanks for your reply.

I just went to the SLD registration, and found no component "adapter engine" there, so I tried to register it.

However, it gave the error "Cannot connect to component r630; user pisuper does not have sufficient authorization to call servlet at URL http://r630:50100/AdapterFramework/regtest.";

I have tried pisuper,j2ee_admin, pirwbuser,piafuser. All of them don't have authorization. Could you tell me which user or authorization is needed?

I have checked SMICM, and found http port is correct.

By the way, we have changed the host name of exchange profile to a full name, which may be the cause of non-registration of adapter engine. But it was said that only esr,id,rwb is registered from exchange profile.

Full qualified name is not a problem. have u changed host name to different name then u will have problems.
