GRN issue

Experts,

We are on SRM 4.0 Extended Classic Scenario

Steps are:

1.User logs into SRM

2.User selects option GR/SE for Desktop User (to post GRN for his own POs)....but nothing happens

System takes few minutes and sessions times out. (screen either shows Network Error or Internet connection related message)

No ST22 dump observed.

User can briskly create Shopping Cart, he can also check status with no hassle.

No issue with network/Internet connection.

Even though user uses some other machine/network issue continues.

User's EBP inbox is also clear.

Any inputs?

please remove any filtering critera and search the PO WHILE doing GRN . if you get a PO , you can do good receipt.

PO must be Approved and status must be ORDERED.

Hi Muthu,

POs are OK. But issue is that user is not even reaching till filtering criteria screen. When he clicks on GR/SE for desktop user, it goes into the loop and finally gives network error/internet connection related message.

Are all users has the same problem ? or only some users could not do

Its the issue with one user.

Is it linked with OS or Int Explorer version by any chance? Considering its SRM 4.0

Issue resolved. It was old search criteria causing the issue. Modified it using BBPCF02.

Hi Mandar,

would you please tell me how you solve the issue, as we have a similar problem with only one user in GR, where the selection criteria (vendor) is marked and cannot be changed, as transaction always timed out.

Hi Milena

Please login to SRM from SAP GUI and enter Browser transaction BBPCF02 or BBPCF03 as appropriate. System may take time to open but it will definitely open unlike Portal where it times out.

Clear search criteria in BBPCF02 or BBPCF03 and come out of transaction.

Login to SRM from Portal and verify again.
