Joining Bonus form 16

Dear all,

My client wants the joining bonus to be shown seperately in form 16. the below is my scenario. I have maitained joining bonus as a non-perk income. It is not shown as a sepearate item in the form 16 however shown total taxable income.

How should we treat this joinig bonus where in form 16 this would be seen as this is an monthly irr. income.

Please advice.

OK, good, follow the table T52D3, select 6 (gross salary) and create the text that you want in form 16. after doing this go to table V-512WD, select your wage type, under evaluation class 6, select your text that you have created to be shown in form16.

i suppose it is T52D4 Evaluation class 6

Thru T52D3, you will get the screen of evaluation class and 4 you need to enter evaluation class.

The said settings are already done. however, not able to view the joining bonus component seperately in form 16 under emoluments.

Are you able to write your text in table evaluation class, also have you gone to table 512w_D and select text under eval class 6,

HI,

Please re-check the following

a) table V_T52D4, eval. class 06-> write the desired text

b) table V_512w_D-> select eval class 06-> select the text and save

generate form 16 and see the output in page annexure to form 16 under emoluments.
