enhancing the datasource 2lis_03_BF

Hi Experts,

Could somebody advice me the best way to enhance the datasource 2lis_03_BF , as I need to populate GL acccount characteristics to cube 0IC_C03

This extractor has GL account from MSEG table but i do not need it rather i need to get it from BSEG table HKONR (GL Account ) field.

As per the protocol i need to enhance the extractor by writing the code and do the enhancement activities.

Do i need to take any spl care for this extractor for enhancements and loading as this extractor is related to inventory

hi,

Rather than writing a CMOD code in source system you can write the routine in BW to fetch the GL account values from BSEG table. The data from BSEG is extracted in BW through 0FI_GL_4, check the DSO mapped to this data source and while loading from DSO of 2lis_03_bf to cube lookup on the DSO of 0FI_GL_4 for GL account values.
