Hi we have the following issue in Kanban
We have a batch managed material (Material A) we want to use this kanban process.
The Kanban Control Cycle for Material A has 2 containers.
Material A has batch 1 and batch 2 in the warehouse.
We do not want to mix batch 1 and batch 2 in the same container.
When we request Material A we do not want to mix batches in containers.
Is this possible?
In tests when there is not enough qty of Batch 1 to fill container 1 SAP takes batch 2. This is not allowed here.
Thanks

Hi,
As per my view point, this is standard SAP behaviour. I don't think anything can be done for this.
However, You can try by defining new batch search procedure and assign it in configuration of replenishment strategy which you are using in Kanban.
Alternately, there are BAdi's provided under SPRO>Production->Kanban---> Business Add-Ins(BAdIs).
Check if any BAdI can suit your requirement.
Hope this helps.

Hi
Thanks for you replies.
I am currently looking into the Batch search procecure but in the configuration of the replenishment strategy I can only assign an IM strategy. As I am creating a TO from a WM managed storage location I think I should to work with WM search strategy.
I need to somehow configure the batch search strategy to allow only 1 batch per TO for Kanban movement type 350.
Ideas welcome, thanks
Hi,
Yes you are right.
You need to work on replenishment strategy with WM."0006" (kanban from WM with transfer requirements)
Also go through another configuration as below :
Stock Transfer for Kanban (with Warehouse Management System
follow documentation of above configuration
Hope you get desired result.
