Alternative solution for LO extraction init load

Hi Gurus,

We have very less time for golive. In the last movement is asking to enhance of the Lo extractor. After enhancement init load will take lot of time.

Is there is any alternative solution for this. So that we can continue with enhacement without asking for downtime for a while.

What is your LO Datasource technical name and what is the technical field name you are trying to enhance ?

I understand that you want to have less downtime, but if you require History data for the Enhanced fields, then you can either do:

1. Fill Setup tables followed by Repair Full loads - requires downtime.

2. If the data is present in BI for those fields in any other data providers, modify the BI code and get that data

- does not require down time.

Initializing will bring in only new data/ deltas. Not the history data.

If you have some data in BI, then you can do an INIT w/o data transfer & then perform the Delta. But again, no History data will be available.
