Plan Driven Scenarios MM-SUS

Hi Experts

We are implementing MM-SUS scenario and following is the process

The version is SRM 5.0 and SRM server 5.5.

1 Create a Purchase Order in R3

2 Vendor confirms the POR in SUS

3 Vendor Creates an Advance shipping notifications in SUS

4 Goods receipts is done against the inbound delivery created.

5 Invoice is created by the vendor in SUS.

Now my queries are following -

1 Does plan driven scenarios support Sub contracting scenarios of MM and will the

vendor be able to see the subcontracting PO and the components.

2 Do we need to configure the IPC as the pricing calulation part occurs in R3.

3 Are there any background jobs to be run in case of only MM-SUS.

We are not impelmenting EBP at all.

4 We have to download the vendor to SUS from R3 is it through the BBPGETVD.???

5 Do we configure the Organisation plan just as we do in EBP but only for vendors.

Means we will have only the Vendor Root and the Purchasing Org node.

I will reward good points

Hi Nimish,

As per your query following are the information :

1. Plan driven scenarios doesn't support Subcontracting process .

2. No need to install IPC if all calculation/Pricing done in R/e or Backend.

3. No need of Background job only require to post Idoc which are in errors .

4.No, using Master Data Trasfer of Vendor Master of Idoc vendor get replicated Transaction BD14.As specified in cook book We have to maintain Reduced Idoc type for vendor replication(Message Type : ZCREMAS ) .

5. Supplier Organisation need to be maintained in SUS like EBP .

Hi Nimish,

You can available that PO to Supplier.Other than Sub contracting PO supplier simply creates ASN against the Schedule lines .which is not available for these POs .

Not even any single report was there in SUS which satisfy the requirement .
