RFFOUS_T File Path Issue

RFFOUS_T has a parameter PAR_UNIX (Length 38 )

The ACH file is written at this location.

My file path is greater than 38 characters.

I cannot shrink the path as the landscape will need a change.

My full unix AL11 path with date and time stamp is around 50 Characters.

Any idea how do I handle this? Dont want to go for ZRFFOUS_T.

Your basis administrator should be able to create a symbolic link in the unix directory that contains the first part of your file path. Then you just use that link plus your timestamp plus whatever else you need in the file name.

Howeven I dont know if we can open the Dataset using the link?

Or is there a was I can open a dataset using logical file?

Its a standard program and there is no enhancement spot before the Open Dataset.

I searched but I could not find if htere is any Note to increase the length of the data element from 38 to say 60.

Give it a try - your basis people should be able to guide you.
