A vendor recently upgraded to Internet Explorer 9, and is having difficulties logging into Sourcing.
We are on version 5.1, hosted by SAP.
He is getting the message:
The connection has timed out
The server at xxxx.frictionless.com is taking too long to respond.
The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
moments.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
connection.
I haven't been able to find any official statement from SAP on compatibility with IE9. Does anyone have any suggestions? Do they need to revert to an older browser / use a different browser?
Thanks,
Matt
Hi Matt -
SAP has not certified 5.1 with IE 9. Nevertheless, the error the supplier sees is not one I would expect to see with an incompatible browser version. It might be a good idea to submit a ticket to support and include the log files that were generated when the supplier tried to access the system.
Thanks,
Rob

Hi Rob,
I sent your thoughts to the vendor, and they replied that they were able to login after they upgraded their Java libraries to the latest version. I should have thought to ask about that first, but their first couple emails made it sound as if they had already tried a number of things.
Thanks for the reply.
Matt
