Product groupings used in SNP aggregated planning

I am using APO V7 SNP aggregated planning.

So that I can easily select products by product group, I am using one of the 'extra' fields on the APO 'product at location' master to store the product group.

The relationship of product to product group is of course also defined in the product hierarchy via trans /SAPAPO/RELHSHOW.

Is there a way of making sure that there is consistency between the product group defined in the 'extra' field and the entries in the product hierarchy?

Are you creating hierarchy manually?

We have custom program to create product hierarchy which reads extra filed of product master.

Hi,

You need to create custom program to update followng tables based on some logic (extra field in material master)

/SAPAPO/RELDHLOC - for location heirarchy (it is must eventhough you may not need - use some dummy location at higher level)

/SAPAPO/RELDHMKA - for product heirarchy

Table /SAPAPO/RELDMLA - for product-location heirarchy
