Warning message on jump from a BI report

Former Member

On jump from a BI report to another (from any characteristic or key figure), following warning message comes up in the second report "Source selection for 0FISCPER incompatible for target selection". This is user specific, not all users are getting this message. It is not an authorization issue. Please provide your thoughafter and soughtafter suggestions.

Hi Suprabhat,

Please check if all the Query restrictions like variables, selection options, interval, hierarchy etc is same for Source and Target Query for that paticular char - 0FISCPER.

Then Incase there is no discrepancy in above types then please check SAP note 1265027:

https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.km.cm.docs/oss_notes/sdn_oss_bw_bex/~...

Also below forum should help resolve your issue :

Hi,

Note implementation would be a general solution, but is that applicable when the warning message is user specific?

Hello,

If the results that are transferred on the jump are correct then this message can be ignored. There is most likely a small discrepancy between sender and receiver.

As to why only some users get the message I would guess that some have their messages suppressed in BEx. You can suppress the warning message by "Business Explorer" -> "Settings" -> "Suppress warnings from server" in bex analyzer.

Hi,

a user not getting this message has not selected 'supress warning from server' option in BEx analyser.
