Cancel A/R Invoice

Cancel document

Close Document

Do You Want To Cancel selected Document ?

Do You Want To Close Selected Document ?

All the above rights are set to full authorization. In-spite of this on right clicking the document cancel menu is disabled.

Any clues ?

Hi Pradnya,

If you want to Cancel A/R Invoice, you can only Copy to A/R Credit Memo.

None of financial documents can be canceled. You can only reverse them by a opposite transaction.

I'm using version 8.8 PL8, Do we have any way to create a/r credit memo from an a/r invoice closed by creating an incoming payment.

Hi Pradnya......

You can not cancle or Close the AR invoice as this functionaly is not there and it is not infact logical.

You can create credit memo in order to make its effect cancle or close........

'Cancel' button wont appear on right clicking on the A/R invoice document since you need to post A/R Credit memo to reverse it
