Automatic Batch determination not happening at delivery

Dear all ,

We are facing problem with batch determination , here batch determination happens in FIFO basis i.e

First goods receipt first out , the problem is

same material , same customer , for the same plant sales order is created in difference of 2 hrs for 1st sales order in delivery the batch is getting determined automatically , for 2nd sales order the batch is not getting determined .

your inputs will be of great help

Just see if after creating 1st Sales Order , might be the Batch Condition Record is Closed in Back Date. Also you need to check if any Batch Charateristics are mandatory to get the Automatic Batch Determination.

Solved the issue.

" Search Procedure for Batches : Determination in Sales Docs" was not assigned to respective sales area.

Hi Vijayshree,

Can you input storage location in the second sale order and try doing delivery.Also check the stock in storage location.
