Hello Experts,

Can you please explain me the below topics in a shot.

1. What is IBase how it will works?

2. Warranty integration between CRM & ECC

3. Require customization settings for the IBASE & Warranty?

4. Is there any objects to be downloaded from ecc to crm?

Please help us to know the above topics.

Hi Sathish,

An iBase typically represents the installed structure at the customer's site, including the machine location, partners responsible for a specific machine/iBase, counters, warranty etc;

It can contain both physical machines and soft services that a company provides. Its purely the customer's choice on how they want to build the iBase. The object is flexible to structure iBase within an iBase, products within an iBase or text objects within an iBase.

There can be various relationships to an iBase component such as Counters, Warranty or Qualification requirements.

Warranty can be customer or vendor warranty and when a warranty is attached to an ibase, when business transactions are created with reference to the iBase, the warranty is auomatically determined as linked to iBase.

With respect to integration with ECC, Equipments can be downloaded as iBase components to CRM.
