Hi,

Position:

This is in User Status Overview - Equipment Master Header screen.

There are 6 different User Statuses.

BRDN Under Breakdown 1 1

FAB UNDER FABRICATION 1 2

INOP In Operation 1 3

REPR Under Repair 2 2

SCRP Scrapped 2 3

STBY Standby 2 1

If you select FAB, STBY & SCRP, in overview screen, FAB will come first, then STBY. SCRP status will not be displayed.

So in Status overview, based on position hierarchy, statuses will be displayed. FAB STBY

As FAB is having 1 position, FAB has been displayed first. STBY is having position 2. So its next. But STBY is having priority as 1. But SCRP is having priority as 3. So only FAB & STBY will be displayed. SCRP will not be displayed.

Please try with different Position & Priority. You can come to know the difference & use.

Also in Change Status screen, you can find the difference based on position & priority. In the above case, it should be like this.

BRDN Under Breakdown

FAB UNDER FABRICATION

INOP In Operation

STBY Standby

REPR Under Repair

SCRP Scrapped

Example 2

BRDN Under Breakdown 1 1

FAB UNDER FABRICATION 1 2

INOP In Operation 1 3

REPR Under Repair 3 1

SCRP Scrapped 2 3

STBY Standby 2 1

In Change Status, status line screen, the list will be like in this order.

BRDN Under Breakdown

FAB UNDER FABRICATION

INOP In Operation

STBY Standby

SCRP Scrapped

REPR Under Repair

In Change Status screen, in Status line based on Position & then Priority User Statuses will be listed. In Status overview (in Equipment Master Header screen), Based on position, statuses will be listed. If 2 statuses are having same position but different priority (1 & 2), then status with priority 1, only will be displayed

Maheswaran.
